It's impossible to diagnose without seeing the bird, or running tests,
For instance, it might not even be a leg problem,
it could be a UTI infection that is affecting it equilibrium.
If you can't take it to a avian vet,
it would not hurt to try antibiotics.
Even if it is a leg injury, it could be beneficial.
You can purchase bird antibiotics at most pet stores,
If you want to save some money, this is a good site.

Many pet stores carry their merchandise, but you can buy directly from them, at the wholesale price online.
I've used them many times.

Sounds like they might have had a heart attack, it can cause imbalances and weakness in muscles. Try crushing up a few Excedrin and putting them in their water, there is stuff in Excedrin that can help rebuild their muscles and even out the fluid in their ears (helping with balance) Hope the little guys gets better?

Look at both of his legs and feet to see if he has a thread wrapped around him. They can get threads wrapped on them tightly until the circulation is cut off and it can kill them. Check very carefully and if he has a thread on him, get it off now!

Well I would imagine he just hurt his foot landing or tripping. I would just call your local vet and see what they recommend :)
