    Recording a DVD has nothing to do with an HD TV. You either need a DVD recorder, or a computer that has recording capability.

    Step 1: Download, install and run the latest DVDFab DVD Creator, then add your own videos per the instructions, insert a blank DVD disc into your DVD writer, and choose an output size at the bottom middle part of this interface;

    Step 2: Choose one menu for your DVD you like from the templates;

    Step 3: Name your dvds, choose the TV Standard, Aspect Ratio and the way you would like to play your DVD, and then hit the start button. Done.

    After that, plug dvd drive in HD TV, and insert dvd to dvd drive for viewing.

    One thing, get a dvd drive; the other thing you need a dvd creator program, like DVDFab, AnyDVD, DVDMaker, etc. With these two essential tools, you can make your own DVDs with kinds of videos so as to enjoy dvd movies with HDTV.
