Do you think I replace my pad to often?
Alright so my period before has been super light to the point where I hardly needed a panty liner, now all of the sudden my flow got HELLA HEAVY and I had to go out and buy hefty overnight pads because holy crap. I replace it every hour or hour and a half because that's when it starts to feel wet and just generally nasty. When I take the pad off I see that inane spots it soaked all the way up to the waterproof lining at the bottom. So do I just have a heavy flow or ami just to picky about putting on a new pad (I've gone through 6 pads since noon and it's 10 o'clock)

Yeah that is kinda overkill. I get that it's a comfort thing tho. Have you thought about tampons? You can leave them in up to about 4 hours and just wear a thin pad in case of leaks.

I'm dealing with heavy bleeding and my doctor put me on meds to slow my period down. Be careful because that much blood loss could result in anemia and can be very dangerous.
