pex water line?

should I be worried about water line sag under boiler heating conditions, causing line to sag and trap air?

    The plumbing I have done over the years Jim does not endorse any sag; especially in a heated enviroment (boiler base) as there is flex, possible temp changes and softening of a hyrocarbon material like PEK pipe.

    Can't understand why copper wasn't used unless to save cost.

    If the line sags it will not trap air as long as both ends are higher than the middle. Air rises in water.

    PEX for use in hot water conditions has a special variety, called "hydronic' that is specially made to not absorb air thru the PEX material.

    Can't say about the sag issue...
