    Sure, it just seems the majority of outted gay men are flamboyant. But its kinda like with lesbians- you only notice the butch lesbians because they stick out.. just like flamboyant gays stick out from masculine gays.

    "Are there any gay guys that are normal and not 'faggy' or queer-acting?"

    Depends on what you consider to be "normal". Regardless, I assume you're referring highly effeminate gay men in which case I can assure you that not all gay men are effeminate. In fact, most gay men are your "average Joes" and some are even hyper masculine. It's just that you only notice the very feminine ones because they stand out more whereas the others "blend in".

    It's quite likely you wouldn't be able to recognise 60% of gay men as gay if they were lined up for you and that you would recognise 10% of straight men as gay. This just goes to show that sexuality in not a visible trait and that mannerisms don't necessarily account for one or the other.

    Source(s): Like all people, gays too are diverse and come in all shapes and sizes.

    I'm bisexual and I don't believe that anyone would know unless they were my sexual partners. You'll find that most gay guys are straight looking/acting...which means that the "typical gay guy" is just a typical normal guy.

    Yes. I've seen big burly "manly men" rent a hotel room with just one bed for them to share. (I work at a hotel) I've also been friends with guys that did not fit the gay stereotype.

    Yes there are, although that would depend on your definition of "faggy or queer-acting"

    I'm gay and no one notices unless I tell them.

    "any ----- ----- that are normal"

    So everyone should what ware a box over their head so we look all the same, what is normal, who says something is normal, why is something that is different not good.

    I have a cookie cutter, I was thinking about getting some different ones, but hey that might scare off my guess if my cookies aren't all the same.

    @peter

    "explain the relevance/content of your question o.o fyi - I'm gay and consider myself 'normal'/non-flaming/non-overtly-gay',"

    My point is, what is normal, who is to say what normal is, and if someone is outside of normal so what. what makes normal right (nothing) and what makes something outside of the box not normal (it isn't).

    Yes posting right now. Nobody knows I am gay less I tell them. In fact one guy thought I was after his wife till I told him I was gay.
