Why won't the people who run Yahoo answers make the site more user friendly, do they want it to fail?

I've been here since almost the beginning, I joined on May 9, 2006 and I'm very happy with some of the improvements and find it quite user friendly, so I'm not sure what it is that you are calling "not user friendly".

If you have a suggestion for something you'd like to see changed, the suggestion board is here: https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/168882-yahoo-fe...

i would guess there are fewer people involved in the everyday functions of the ya forum and more automatum than in previous years leading to the same vicious cycles occurring in all competitive areas, including speed and convenience v users or segmented. the everyday functions with elements required for continued usage by numbers involves more and more human intervention to tweak and change accordingly. unless there are a majority of disgruntled employees taking over without much forethought for their yahoo jobs/users security eg. casual workers like contributors on other sites - failure of it is a definite NO TKS.

I've been using the site for at least 5 year now. I believe it's been going for a lot longer.

I do agree tweaks are needed but you can't please everyone.

The format is there. It is what it is. Use it or don't.
