I made a website using notepad. How do I make the website public.?

I have six different pages (html) on this one page.. Can someone give me a step by step process on what to do?

    Register a domain name. Find a hosting company which allows you to upload your site by FTP. Upload the files to the root directory of the server and point your domain registrars DNS A and CNAME records to point to your hosting site IP address.

    Put it on a web server. Your options are to buy web space with a service, or run your own web server at home, and do all the networking to get it visible to the public.

    In all cases, you have to get a DNS name - usually you have to buy those from name providers like Godaddy, etc...

    ftp it to the server using filezilla client. http://filezilla-project.org/
