Use it to sell something - otherwise don't expect to get more than trivial returns.

There are many Adsense alternatives that you can try. Maybe your website topics (niche) is not good for adsense and you can try alternatives together with Adsense.
Btw, you also should try affiliate marketing because you can make much more money with affiliate marketing then with Adsense.
