No you can just to go up yo her and ask her about anything.
Trust me you won't sound creepy or anything , but first try to catch her attention like keep looking at her until she catch you looking then smile and look down , you will sound nice and yea be confident girls like this :)

Just go sit with her and you can start doing your homework there. You could even ask what class shes working on. Just dont talk too much unless shes obviously interested. Dont ask anything personal, if she looks like she doesnt care about anything she probably will mind if you ask her personal questions
