How hard is it to Learn Italian?

My friend and I were just having a texting debate about this. On a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the hardest, how much difficulty does it have? We both speak French and Italian is apparently quite similar with a bit of a Spanish touch, from what I ve heard. Thanks

    If one of you speaks French and the other speaks Italian, you should only have moderate difficulties.
