Do Newcastle overachieve every season?
In 1990 Newcastle were a Division 2 side but most of the seasons since they have been in the Premiership so I think they overachieve by being in the Premiership because they should be in the championship and I wish they were because I'm a Newcastle fan and think I underachieve financially because my football team overachieves.

Lol, no we actually underachieve most seasons we used to compete for titles and play in the Champions league in the 90's and first half of the 2000's.
Sunderland are the small div 1 club you're thinking of, numerous relegations in the last 10 years.

45 years is pretty painful underachievement, couldn't we win something more than the Championship or the Intertoto before you start worrying about your wallet. Although 2010 was exciting.
