If you go back in time to any time period, where would you go and why?

The Victorian Era.~ Have always been enchant by it,it has a flair,I resonate with.~ From the clothes,to the romantic ways it exudes. ~*

For purely selfish reasons I would like to go back to circa 1830/32, when my maternal Gt. grandfather was allegedly born in Bath (England).

Unfortunately, I can't find a Baptism anywhere in the City, so I am unable to take my Family Tree back any further through that line. Add the problem that they were bargemen, he could have been baptised anywhere along the River Avon or the Kennet & Avon canal - that's an awful lot of Churches! If I could be around when he was born, I'd know who my Gt. Gt. grandparents were.

My Dad's family I've traced back to the 1600's.
