Making assumptions about where parentheses should be,
10/(2x + 6) + 2/(x + 3) = 1/2
2(5)/(2(x + 3)) + 2/(x + 3) = 1/2
5/(x + 3) + 2/(x + 3) = 1/2
7/(x + 3) = 1/2
7(2) = 1(x + 3)
14 = x + 3
x = 11
(4x + 1)/20 = (3x - 3)/25
(5/5)(4x + 1)/20 = (4/4)(3x - 3)/25
(20x + 5)/100 = (12x - 12)/100
20x + 5 = 12x - 12
8x = -17
