How to be less attracted to the opposite sex?

If you're trying to be gay I would not suggest that. But what I will suggest is that you should focus on your own self, Get to know yourself better, develop some hobbies, like reading, hanging out with friends, joining some book clubs if you're into that. Try not to draw to much attention. Avoid romance movies and tv shows that focus on relationships. Personally I never understood why society put pressure on people to date and be in relationships. Personally as individuals we should be able to make our own decisions. Focus on your friendships and developing yourself a little bit more. God bless you.

As a bisexual Christian I think some GLBTs actually dress the part to both attract others like them, and to broadcast to others not of their preference that they are unavailable.

So when you see a butch lesbian (no offense intended), she is basically saying that she isn't interested in guys. A Gay man who dresses effeminate is basically saying that he isn't interested in women. etc.

So in your case, you get your mind off of it. Occupy yourself with activities that don't include the opposite sex. Dressing less attractively will allow you to fly under the radar better. But if you are naturally attractive, it should still come up. Don't draw attention to yourself and you shouldn't have to deal with your attraction to them as much.

And then there is the personal "happy time" that might help you cope. But I won't go into that here.
