How long is a prescription for adderall valid?

I have a prescription written for 30mg adderall that was written in August. I was trying to see if I could do without it but now I feel I need it. Is it too late?

We cannot tell you. In some states, prescriptions are valid for a year. However, for some drugs that are closely regulated, the validity may be much less.

You can always call your doctor's office and ask them, OR, you can simply go to a your pharmacy and find out from them.

It should have directions for either a regular refill or to consult your doctor for a follow up and renewed prescription. This would depend on what you discussed with your doctor when prescribed. If you are unable to find that info on your prescription or with your pharmacy, contact your doctor.

That depends on local prescribing law - usually prescriptions have a "valid to" date on them.
