Hola
La D significa demanda y la S oferta (del inglés "Supply"). El "sub cero" de la D y la S suele denotar una situación inicial, previa a eventuales desplazamientos de las curvas.
La gráfica es un ejemplo de desequilibrio; el precio es inferior al de equilibrio y surge un exceso de demanda: al precio p = 40, el productor ofrecerá mucho menos (unas 100 unidades) que lo deseado por los demandantes (unas 220 unidades).
