Why do people want to be models?
I was just wondering why people would want to be models. I don't mean this in a bad way, I just only see bad coming from trying to be a model. So many models have eating disorders and low self esteem, and are only told that they need to change thir bodies to be perfect. Some people say money, but most dont make a lot of money. Im not judging anyone for their passions and dreams, I just want to understand them.

You obviously don't know many (any?) models personally. I know several, and they are a very happy bunch. They make very good money, travel, have little or no stress, and amazing social lives. They need no college, training, or talent. The hardest part about being a model is having the genetics to become one. The stuff about eating disorders is mostly nonsense, exaggerated by haters. The ones I know are very healthy and fit. There are some, obviously, but not many. The downside is that it doesn't last long. Very few models get enough jobs to keep their spot at an agency for more than a few years.
