Why is my room always so freaken hot?

its only my room. every other room feels nice and cool. the air is coming through the vent fine so it isn't that and i have two fans in my room. I can't figure out the problem. I've tried putting foil on my window to block out the sun but it still gets hot even at night time. the only time its ever cool is when its really cold out and i open my window. other than that its always hot. It isnt my house so I can't really go in the attic and check the insulation and all that (if that even is a possibility). what can I do to make my room cool? Other than buy a window unit? or what is the problem
