Solve compound Inequality -2x - 5 ≤ -6 and -2x + 5 ≥ 6

    -2x-5 ≤ -6

    -5 ≤ -6+2x

    1 ≤ 2x

    ½ ≤ x

    -2x+5 ≥ 6

    5 ≥ 6+2x

    -1 ≥ 2x

    -½ ≥ x

    There is no value of x that is both ≥½ and ≤-½. No solution.

    -2x - 5 ≤ -6 and -2x + 5 ≥ 6

    or 6- 5 ≤ 2x and -6 + 5 ≥ 2x

    or 1 <= 2x and -1 >= 2x

    or 1/2 <= x and -1/2 >= x

    There is no value that can satisfy both inequalities and no soln exists
