Sprint leaving NASCAR after 2016. Who do you think should be the new series sponsor?

It was announced today that Sprint informed NASCAR that it will not continue sponsorship of the Sprint Cup Series when its current contract ends after the 2016 season. So NASCAR has two years to find a new sponsor for its premier series.

What companies do you all think would be candidates to sponsor the Cup Series?

Well, I figure it will be a sponsor already close to NASCAR, much like Nextel was when they took over as the main sponsor in 2004. Sponsors you see at the track every weekend like:

    Sunoco

    Goodyear

    American Ethanol

    Kobalt

    Edelbrock

    Coca-Cola

Companies like that. Just a thought though.

Walmart got out-bid by Sprint for it last time.

I think it should go without sponsorship. Helps to have one, but won't hurt to not have one. It would officially be called the "Nascar Premier Series".

Someone that isn't going to bastardise the "championship" any worse than it already has been.
