Why are the Simpsons Yellow?
I've always wondered why the Simpsons skin color is yellow. It's just different, and unique to the show. I am just curious as to why Matt Groening colored them like that.

I am growing a tree. It is cottonwood, about eight years old. When trimming its branches, I noticed a growth looking thing (pictured) should I be worried about the life of my tree?
2 AnswersGarden & Landscape6 years agoWhat does this Angry Birds level symbolize?
Hello. I was playing Angry Birds, and came across this level in the game. It has an Indycar or an F1 car, with '1982' under it. Does this have any significance? If so, what does it mean? I am a racing fan, but not a big open wheel fan. Thanks!
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games6 years agoHow do you get out of an upside down Mini Stock?
So next season, I will be starting my first season in the mini stock division at my local dirt track. However, there is one thing I've never figured out how to do yet, and that is being able to extract yourself from an overturned race car without giving yourself a concussion. It is so compact inside the cab of my Mustang because of all the safety equipment inside. Can anybody tell me how to do this before I am in this situation? (And yes, I am aware the picture is an upside down Modified and not a mini stock.)

Hello, I recently discovered the news that GM has plans to close the doors on the Holden plants in Australia in 2017. However, could this mean that the Holden models could come to America under American brand names (like Chevrolet, for example)? I was wondering because I discovered the Holden Commodore Ute (pictured) recently and thought that it could be a perfect body for a return of the El Camino. in America. Does anyone know any updates on the Holden situations, and what will happen to the models after the closing of Holden?

This buddy of mine is having a big yard sale and this movie caught my eye. I asked him about it and it turns out he's never watched it himself. I read the back and it seemed like a good movie, but I want to see what you guys think of It before I get it.

1 AnswerPlayStation6 years agoWho is Paulie Harraka?
Hi, I own the video game NASCAR '14, and notice that there is a driver I don't recognize. His name is Paulie Harraka, and drives the #12 on the game. He is part of PHR (Paulie Harraka Racing), and is a Ford. According to the game, the car appeared on 2/23/14 during the 2014 Daytona 500.

2 AnswersNASCAR7 years agoMy car just got recalled. What do I do?
Hi. I drive a 2013 Ford Focus with an automatic 6-speed transmission. I purchased the car in February. Since then, I've noticed the transmission slip when the automatic switches gears. I kind of got used to since. Just a week or so ago, I saw online that there is a recall out for my specific car. The recall is for "contamination in transmission fluid". What do I do now?
1 AnswerOther - Cars & Transportation7 years agoIs it less or more expensive to buy a Mini Stock rather than build one?
I plan on owning a Mini Stock soon and was wondering if it would cost more or less to purchase a race-ready Mini Stock rather than building one from scratch. Currently, I do not own a car that could be turned into a Mini Stock, so I would have to buy a body if I would want to start from scratch. I've looked online and have seen race-ready Pinto Mini Stocks in the price range of $2700- $4000. I've also seen "rolling" chassis where there is no engine or tranny with the car. They range from $1500- $3000.
Keep in mind that I plan on painting the body and adding my own personal decals and sponsors. If I buy a pre-built race-ready car, I may have to tweak the car to specify IMCA standards.
So after it is all added up, do you think that it would be better to buy a pre-built Mini Stock or make my own from scratch?
-Thanks, Brent
