How do you get out of an upside down Mini Stock?
So next season, I will be starting my first season in the mini stock division at my local dirt track. However, there is one thing I've never figured out how to do yet, and that is being able to extract yourself from an overturned race car without giving yourself a concussion. It is so compact inside the cab of my Mustang because of all the safety equipment inside. Can anybody tell me how to do this before I am in this situation? (And yes, I am aware the picture is an upside down Modified and not a mini stock.)

Usually most race tracks have a policy where if you're upside down, the car is NOT on fire, and you're uninjured, to stay in the car and the safety crew will come assist you out of the car.
In the even your car is on fire and you need to just get out to safety.
What was recommended here at our local track was you go ahead and place your stronger arm hand above you head so you arm is above your head, and hand is palm down onto the roof of the upside car. With you other hand pull the quick release and soon as it releases, with your other arm try to push up and minimize the fall. Then crawl out.
