Are there classes of drag racing that don't need a lot of wrenching?

Update:

As in go to the track with a set-up that will last more or less a season?

    no offence but if there's one type of auto racing, that's a turn off to me it's drag racing....pun intended btw

    Yes. 

    When your dad dresses in drag. 

    He doesn't need a lot of "wrenching". 

    He does it all himself.
