is spam jalapeno real hot? if so, is there a recipe where i can make it not spicy?
My sister gave me one as a gift, my husband is the only who eat spicy foods, my 2 kids are just 7 and 4, they certainly cant stand spicy. I dont want it to go to waste, is there a way to serve it and lessen the hotness (if it is really hot).

I did not find Spam Jalapeno very hot, but it will probably be too hot to serve your kids. I can only suggest that you taste it to see if your children can eat it. If not, about the only thing you can do is cut the spam into tiny pieces and mix it into some mild macaroni and cheese before baking or serve with mashed potatoes, both of which might tone down some of the heat. However, making other foods to tone down the heat, seems like a bit of work just to use up a can of Spam. It does last for almost a week in the fridge, so fry the Spam and serve it with eggs for your husband and give it to him for breakfast or just serve you husband a few slices of the Jalapeno Spam for dinner along with your veggies and make some other type of protien for you and the kids.

I swear to gosh, I did not read that right. I just woke up.
Sorry, I do not know as I've never had spam. Let the hubby have a sandwich or something and taste it before feeding it to the kids.

Cut it into 1/4th inch slices, freeze it in single layer on a plate, bag it and fry it with eggs for breakfast for your husband.

no not really. You cannot remove a seasoning from a food once its been cooked in.
