How do I find out what triggers I have?
I've heard a discussion recently about how to best deal with triggers, and it made me curious if I have any triggers to worry about. Is it as simple as putting info in a litmus test and see what the results are or is it complex and needs a bit of mental digging to find out what triggers I have? How would the best way of finding triggers be?

I know most of my triggers now (movies or shows dealing with anorexia, self harm, and suicide are really big ones, but I also have a lot of other ones- a certain type of scissors, scales, skinny jeans, etc.) I had to come across most of my triggers once or twice before I realized they were triggering me. I've never heard of a litmus test for triggers, but you could try that.
If you want to find some triggers, I would think about you. Are you depressed? Do you have binge eating disorder? EDNOS? Anorexia? History with self harm? I think whatever you're diagnosed with will help you pin point some.
