What is your favorite JFK quote?

For instance, I like this one.

"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."

President John F. Kennedy

"Jack ought to show a little less profile and a little more courage", made by former First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt.

Most JFK quotes are actually Ted Sorensen quotes. Sorensen was Kennedy's speech writer and, when asked, if he had also written Kennedy's Pulitzer Prize-winning book Profiles in Courage, he said tongue-in-cheek "ask not".

I'm more of a Churchill fan but there is one quote JFK once said that struck kinda deep with me.

Ich bin ein Berliner - I am a Berliner.

He made it during a visit in West Germany almost two years after the Soviets made the Berlin wall.

He made the speech in order to show that the world was with West Germany and that they should not be afraid.

Fascinating man, we don't get many of those today.

This one is slightly less well known, but my favorite nonetheless:

"Oh yeah, suck iike yer mad at it Marilyn Monroe! Who's yer president? WHO'S YER PRESIDENT!??"
