Should I quit my satellite TV company and get another?
With the current problems I can't see where I can continue to support paying Dish for Fox News when I don't receive it. Dish costs a lot of money and competition is fierce. I'm not a wealthy person and Dish is a luxury that I can't afford when other suppliers continue providing Fox News.
I told them, "I will not continue paying for your squabble with Fox. The attacks on Fox are often political in nature, and I can't be sure that Dish is not complicit in this. Fix the problem or I'm leaving."
1 AnswerMedia & Journalism6 years agoWhat about old computers?
Actually older computers are quite powerful, except they can't move data fast enough to stream video. But there is a lot of old software that works good but will not run on new computers well. That means when you get a new 64 bit, 8 GB RAM or more, and large storage drives computer you need to buy new software. So, I keep an old Computer to run the older software because some of it is quite satisfactory. I always keep up with new computers to stream video, and record huge quantities of data. Do you have any special uses for old computers, except to throw them away?

2 AnswersSingles & Dating6 years agoOkay, tell us about your favorite SciFi movie; which is it?
I liked "The Illustrated Man" and "Blade Runner" the most.
2 AnswersMovies6 years agoDo you still like the Tonight Show without Leno?
I don't watch it anymore. I first watched it in the 1960s; and Jack Parr, and Carson, were good. Leno was just fine. But, I don't like it anymore. It's like a Coke that has lost it's fizz.

Words & Wordplay6 years agoHow do we stop them from killing cops, burning buildings, robbing stores, and causing violence at schools?
Maybe we could tell them that the illegal aliens taste like chicken and we could put all that wasted energy to good use.

3 AnswersOther - Pregnancy & Parenting6 years agoIf they decide to take away our guns will they do it like it was done during Katrina?
They used inexperienced young soldiers and they went door to door confiscating firearms and threatening to shoot ordinary citizens who resisted. Just because they can't control the border does not mean they can't control us.
3 AnswersGovernment6 years agoWhat is your favorite JFK quote?
For instance, I like this one.
"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
President John F. Kennedy

The bad guys will become good guys and we'll all live in a Socialist utopia, Right?
9 AnswersPolitics6 years agoAre you from North Dakota?
I lived near Minot, ND for about 4 years, and I even granulated from Minot State University. LOL
I loved North Dakota except for those gangs of Norwegians that would beat up people, rob stores, burn buildings, and swarm over people's cars like monkeys and set them on fire. OH WAIT!! It wasn't Norwegians or North Dakota that did that; I was wrong; it was somewhere else where that happened.
In fact, when I was there the people in North Dakota kept everything clean and decent; no trash, stealing was almost unknown, just hard working down to earth civilized people that helped each other and were a pleasure to know. The schools were show places with carpeting on the floors, no filthy gang writing on the walls, or even outside on the buildings.
Yes, the winters were long and hard with deadly sub-zero temperatures and fierce winds. But, the spring and summers made up for it in glorious outdoors, nice fishing and camping, and always the loving, caring, and sharing people. God bless North Dakota; the memories remain in my heart.
3 AnswersOther - Society & Culture6 years agoWhat's the best thing to do about terrorist hostage rescues that fail?
In my minds eye if we don't get our hostages or hostage out unharmed then we should leave the entire holding area with punishing death and destruction using any means possible. Scorched Earth!
Have you noticed that they don't grab any Russians? They did at one time but they can't afford to do it again.
7 AnswersOther - News & Events6 years agoWhat punishment should those arsonists and rioters receive?
There were so many of them that maybe we should revoke their citizenship and send them to Hatti.
2 AnswersGovernment6 years agoWhat is the difference between arsonist/ looters, and demonstrators?
What should be done? Should property owners just stand by and let the arsonists/looters destroy lives and property? Should we fight back since law enforcement is impotent?
