What about old computers?
Actually older computers are quite powerful, except they can't move data fast enough to stream video. But there is a lot of old software that works good but will not run on new computers well. That means when you get a new 64 bit, 8 GB RAM or more, and large storage drives computer you need to buy new software. So, I keep an old Computer to run the older software because some of it is quite satisfactory. I always keep up with new computers to stream video, and record huge quantities of data. Do you have any special uses for old computers, except to throw them away?

Hi
Any PC less that 17 years old is ok
My work laptop is one of the first P4 XP and has Puppy Linux on it. It is faster than my win 7 i7.
I also have a asus eeeepc with a 0.8 cpu 512 ram and a 2GB hard drive and that runs ok and can stream youtube.
Old computers are just fine.
My clients dont use new computers as its not nesscary for 90% of people.
