Do I have to get a concealed carry in every city?
When I turn 21 I plan on buying a fire-arm, I would like to get a concealed carry for my city, but I also travel to San Francisco and Oakland, would I need to get concealed carry papers for those city's as well? Even if I already have a concealed carry permit for my city

In the once-great state of California, concealed carry permits are issued by county sheriffs and police chiefs. As you might imagine in those two cities, it's as much a political decision as it is a decision based upon any other consideration.
I would suggest that you will NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES WHATSOEVER, be issued a permit to carry concealed in the City and County of San Francisco. Oakland I'm not so sure about, but I'd be surprised if you could convince the Alameda County Sheriff to issue you one there either.

I haven't lived in California in over 20 years, but you might check to see if this is still accurate...
Private Detectives and owners of Guard Agencies could get a state-wide permit from the Dept. of Consumer Affairs.
People would get a private detective license just so they could get the permit. The law said you had to be on duty, but you could always just say you're on duty. You could just be on duty looking for clients. Walking through the mall w/ your family, so, you're on duty assessing the need for the shops investigation needs.
You could be on duty w/o having any actual clients.

Yes, if it is out of state .
But state laws in and of themselves might say you have to have individual gun permits in every city or county .
You might ask a lawyer to research the question for you.

CITIES don't issue CCWs. In every STATE that issues them, they are valid statewide. MOST states honor CCWs from some, but not all, other states.
