Change to a completely different job?
Not liking the new Y/A.
$ is the same. Better schedule. Still love my current profession, just not this position-but the benefits are great and I'm vested. The new job is at the same place but a new profession I am not sure I will enjoy at all. May not be easy to change back if I hate it. 12 years at least until retirement. Anyone made a leap of faith with great results?

Do your research! Since it is within the same company, ask others in that position what they do and how they like their job. Make an informed decision, not an emotional one. Good Luck

Why not. It will broaden your horizons and give you new job skills so you can get paid more money.
