Yea or no? Ok to lie. Bf thinks it's ok. Help me show him it's not?

Does anyone think it's okay to lie to someone you love over and over again? Even if you don't think what you're lying about is a big deal, but you know the person you're lying to would react badly to what you're hiding.

More back story, but just answering the first half will be plenty for me. Please and thank you!!!

My bf thinks his lying is ok because the things he lies about he says aren't a big deal. But they are to me. He lies to himself a lot and I know deep down he knows it's serious. He lies about using drugs. We are both sober from heroin. He insists it's ok to use Xanax, adderal and MDMA because they're not heroin. He says it's just adderal or it's an anxiety medicine.. I'm mostly upset that he won't stop lying to me and I can't trust him anymore. He had lied about other things too. It scares me the most because he doesn't see the big deal in these lies. He thinks what he's lying about isn't a big deal but it is to me, and I'm mainly upset about the fact that he won't stop lying all the time.
