Here in Alberta we only pay gst and not pst, so there's savings if you come here. As far as moving and cost it would depend on what house, car and other assessors you'd like to purchases. The good thing about you is you don't have a family to tie you down, you can move anywhere! Condo - 250K car 15K then you got your: food, bills, gas, car payments, mortgage ext. On top so you Probably want to be clearing 5gs a month? I Dont know though, I'm 15 and it's 2am right now so this all might not make any sense... Maybe I should have mentioned this first. Ohwell anyways 5K a month = 60K a year which should be enough for a single guy to live in a different province, you just have to find a job soon and if not have your saved money budgeted in a way that you don't starve. Peace brotha, and good luck!

How much it costs to move depends on how much stuff you have to move, whether you choose to do it yourself or hire a moving company as well as where you are moving from.
The first time I moved out on my own ( 3 hours drive away from home ), I packed everything I needed on a daily basis into my car and picked up other various items the following months when I came back home to visit. So that move only cost me the fuel to drive to my new home.
