Do you think someone convicted of selling drugs should be imprisoned for a longer period than someone convicted of rape or manslaughter?

Update:

In some instances a convicted drug dealer actually can be sentenced to longer prison time than someone convicted of rape or manslaughter. Does this make any sense?

It is very difficult to compare crimes.

For example some rapes are just an 18 years and 1 month old and 15 1/2 year old who had a crazy moment and got pregnant. Where as some drug dealer are responsible for actually enticing even preteens unto hard drug use. And are actively using armed "guards to transport their drugs and money around the city or even state. They even assault or murder (have people mudered) to maintain their territory.

So in those two cases the drug dealer is obviously the more serious criminal.

I'm all way mildly amazed by the people who like to make people like that drug dealers or just like grandma's who bake cooks for the neighbors. That just isn't the case. Go to your states DOC site and look up random drug dealer and see if the only crimethey commented was small time drug dealing to gget in prison (I guess because most people don't know a bunch of drug dealers by name you could just type in a last name and wildcard for first name than just go down the list until you find drug related crimes)

If laws need to be changes to less harsh it's not the ones related to drug crimes.
