How long will you watch a show before deciding it's not for you? (self.television)?

3 episodes. However a TV show should put the first episode to good use, I should be the best. I mean that where they have to prove to you its good. But some time I end up loving shows even if I didn't like the pilot. I think 3 episodes but sometimes it take 10 for you to get to know the characters and thats when you start liking it.

that's pretty much up to you. personally, I watch many cartoon shows and many of the newer shows now that they advertise/preview look pretty badly done and stupid, right? so I usually tend to avoid watching them, unless there's a day I'm so bored I decide to watch an ep of one of those new shows and sometimes I'll watch the whole ep if it actually appeals, otherwise if I see just a glance of some stupid antic of the ep, I'll immediately change the channel...

in my experience, I like shows with good chars and stories, even if the art is somewhat badly drawn, if it's well animated and especially has good chars + ep stories, it'll keep me intrigued and I end up loving the show and watching most of their eps~

one time I tried watching a couple of dif anime series (that have endless amounts of eps), and after maybe a season I got tired of it. not sure why, but I lost interest in them, even if the chars look cool, I wasn't impressed with the shows in general.

so in the end, it's up to you. you might not like a show if you can't even watch ONE ep, but if you watch one ep and maybe try watching a few more eps whenever it comes on again, then you probably have a liking to the show.
