PS4 controller thumb grips breaking?
Is it true that the thumb grips start to rip and wear off on a PS4 controller after a lot of use or is it just some controllers? Is the white controller more resistant to this?

The thumb grips breaking is probably just an isolated event. Maybe those controllers weren't assembled correctly or the controller had been dropped or damaged prior to the thumb grips breaking. The white controller would not be more resistant to this, as the only difference is the white paint.
