I feel horrible and like a creepy person! (anyone know Miranda sings?)?

So I have a friend who lives in Colleen Ballinger's neighborhood. I am a huge fan and made her a present. I thought it would be easier and less expensive to leave it on the doorstep after making cookies at my friend's house. Colleen's dad pulled up in his car as I was dropping it off and seemed creeped out and asked me to not share the address. He sounded so creeped out, it made me feel horrible afterwards! I'm not trying to be creepy, I just wanted to deliver fan mail! If I could go back and have shipped it to her PO box instead I would have. I feel sooo bad now. I didn't mean to freak anybody out or invade her privacy! I just wanted to make her smile back with a gift. I guess the question is if you think what I did was really creepy and ways I could possibly fix it without being even creepier. I feel so horrible, I'm not crazy.. I promise! :( Help.
