could bailing someone out of lockup be considered a holliday gift or do I still need to get her something else?

my wife had a sitaution two nights ago where she was drinking gross wine with her friends and she made some offensive comment like can happen when she's been drinking and the friend asked her to leave but she refused and they ended up calling the police a few hours later and then she refused to leave for them also and she resisted when they forcibly tried to make her leave so she ended up getting booked in and then when i got told by that friend's husband i collected the money my cousin owed me and went to the county jail to bailed her out really quickly so she wouldnt have to spend much time in there. she ended up saying thanks when she woke up the next day so i know she does appreciate it even though she told me im a scumbag on the walk back to our appartment but she still had all that wine messing her up, that was the rest of the money i was owed though so i'm pretty out of stuff to buy her anything with for christmas so i was thinking about telling her that day that when i bailled her out that was her gift do other woman think that be a success or would you expect something elsse like a more traditional gift also?
