Fuji 'polariod' camera or iPad mini 2?
So I have enough to buy a Fuji 'polariod' but I have to buy an iPad mini 2 (personal reasons) and my dad will pay half for the iPad mini 2, but I'm paying all of the polarioid, and I've been wanting a polarioid for the longest time, and i take a lot of photos, and I have an iPod touch 5, so I think I can wait on the iPad. But I'm not sure which to get

Your own needs will be different from other peoples, you need to work out and decide which way to go. that way you won't have anyone else to blame than yourself.
For me the iPad Mini makes sense, I actually use one and as an entertainment device it works really well, I don't have much use for mobile phones and prefer to keep in touch using email, the Mini is a good size for browsing and although it's camera might not be the best it should satisfy most for quick snaps to upload to facebook or instagram. I'd prefer the iPad to the Fuji camera, instant cameras can be expensive to 'run', don't get me wrong, the novelty factor of an instant photo can't be beat at parties or celebrations, apart from that, it's hard to justify the cost because you can share shots with the iPad instantly to social websites and you can print them off too.
The iPad Mini is the ideal size for viewing photos, even when I shot using 35mm SLR cameras. I rarely printed photos larger than 7x5 inches, the Mini is the sensible choice for me.

Have you factored in the cost of upkeep? Every time you want to use the Fujifilm instant camera, it will cost you about $10 for 10 photos. But maybe you have the budget for that.
I personally don't see what the iPad will do for you, other than the larger screen, that the iPod doesn't do. Has Dad shared with you why he thinks the iPad is a good purchase? Talk to him. Dads like to have their children communicate with them.

I have a much better idea. Buy an Android tablet for around $100, and with the money you save, buy a proper camera.
