Getting back together after split because of infidelity?
Yes I know, I did the unthinkable. I "cheated." I didn t physically cheat though. I sexted and talked dirty with another girl. But me and my ex now are split and she said she is tired of the pain and can t get back because she wouldn t be able to not think about it. She lead me on telling me we will get back together after I broke it off because I wanted to focus on myself, (I lost myself.) She was really moving on without telling me and telling me we will. She told me that she thinks we could get back together in the future. I don t know if I believe that and I can t put my hopes on that. Not asking if she will get back with me but is there ever a chance or story that a couple splits up and dates different people after being cheated on and it working out. I truly love her, it kills me. I wish I never would of "cheated" She says about try dating other people and see what the future holds. She also tells me she will always love me. I believe that. Please don t be mean about this. I know I messed up. I regret it. I m on medicine because of depression and all. Never was before. And she said about being friends but that won t help me with her moving on because I won t be able to.

My man..., you've made a mistake. Every mistake had consequences. You need to pretend as if she cheated on you.. Would you get back together with her? I most certainly wouldn't. She feels hurt and honestly, she is feeling a powerful emotion of jealousy that she won't be able to recover from. You both should move on, especially because it's not fair to you that she can keep stringing you along until she decides she wants you back, and it's not fair to her that you cheated. Consider this a learning experience! Everyone makes mistakes. But I'm sure you're a great dude that can be an excellent boyfriend to any other woman. Keep your head up, learn from this, and find a woman that loves you to the point that you can both fully trust each other. If you love her that much, you'll never have a reason to cheat again. Best of luck, brother! Don't be depressed, we all make mistakes and you can repent! (Religious or not, the word means to change and forget about our past problems.)

I've had a few talks about this with some guys and they seem to think that if it's with a girl . . . it's not cheating. That may sound ridiculous but, a women does not pose a threat to a man's sexuality the same as another man. Maybe you should consider sharing!
