Do EPL (or the top leagues) officials (referees and linesmen) work on a full time basis or do they have other regular jobs?

They have other jobs, Howard Webb for example is a police seargent, Jon Mosses is a discipline master, Mark Clattenburg is an electrician, Mike Rikey was a accountant, Pierlugi Collina was notably a soilder while in his early years as referee the only thing special about EPL referees is that unlike the other league, they sign contracts, in other leagues like La Liga and Ligue 1 the referee gets paid after each match.
