Can a SLR camera & one laptop be allowed to carry as a hand luggage (Hand Baggage) in the flight while travelling from LHR to destination?

Hi All,

Greetings to all, I will be travelling to my home country from London, Heathrow. My question is can i be allowed to carry one DSLR camera with one lance along with one laptop in hand luggage? If not then can i keep either of my equipment in check in luggage?

Please advise...

    Of course. Millions of people travel with one or both of those items every day.

    The laptop needs to be removed from your bag and put into a bin so it goes through the x-ray machine separately. The camera can stay in your bag.

    No one will care.
