I want to be a Man but I'm not gay, is this strange?

I prefer a male lifestyle. Being masculine, not being judged if you sleep around, not having to go through having unwanted children or groping. I don't like a women lifestyle, but I have a boyfriend and I dont want to tell him this. I want to be muscular and I mean RIPPED but so many people find that gross on a woman. I feel like a p*ssy if I cry and I set myself to the same expectations as a man meaning, heavy lifting, doing my own home renovations and trying to be the breadwinner and paying for dates. As a young girl i always wanted to hang around men when i grew up and had dreams of smoking cigars while drinking beer and playing poker type of stuff (i know, stereotypical) but I have ALWAYS been straight and love the touch of a man. I feel really inferior to men and it humiliates me, this is the only thing that's been on my mind this month. I want to be sexy for my man only but I feel humiliated being cat called. When another man hits on me (sexually speaking) I always take a male response by threatening to beat his a*ss and call him a ****** instead of slapping him. Btw I'm 100% serious right now. I wish I could be a man JUST for the respect and lifestyle without being called a slut for hanging around with a bunch of men. I like spoiling my man and my friends even call me the man of the relationship (which I feel is degrading to my boyfriend) but this really has been on my mind. If I have a sex change I'd feel better but I'd lose my best friend and I don't like anal

As a male to female transgender i don't think you are a transgender.

Wanting and doing manly things does not make one into a transgendered person. What i can tell is that you obviously like to do things that men usually do and it's totally fine for women to do them too but you worry too much about what others think of you.

People can only humiliate you if you let them, and why should you care what other people may think of you? Your life is for you to live and how you do it is no ones business but your own..........Unless you start breaking the law that is ;)

Want some advice? Don't give a frakk about what other people think of you and do the things you enjoy regardless what anyone says.

If you really feel like a man trapped in the wrong body then you can always see a therapist but try to see someone that specializes in this field. American therapists tend to over diagnose people on this issue.

Alright u pefer a man's lifestyle? Go for it, and here is the good news. U could go to therapist to get prescribed u to get testrastone (male hormones) and the effects are 1. (Deeper voice) 2.(muscle mass growth) 3. (Makes your face looks more manly). But there the reversible effect are manly face and deep voice. Just make sure that you want to do this is the 100%. Good luck

Those are not valid reasons to transition. Going by what you've said, there's nothing which would convince a therapist that you're actually transsexual.

What you seem to be is a very butch, straight woman and there's nothing at all wrong with that.

I think you are a very butch hetero woman. And that's just fine.

And as far as wanting the respect that men get? Honey, there is NOTHING wrong with that, either.
