How to transport a Betta fish in the car?
I want to buy a Betta fish but I will have to drive with it for 3 and half hours in the car. If I buy the fish the same day that I leave can I keep the fish in its little cup and transport it that way?

Also make sure u dnt use new water when you transport the fish. Make sure its water from its tank. And put a few drops of water conditioner called "stress coat" in the water. I worked for a pet store and we always added stresscoat to the fishes water when we got in a new shipment of fish.

No, it will injure itself on the hard sides. Use a ziplock bag inside a paper bag, lined with paper towels. That's how the fish guy transports fish to my husband's reef tank.
