Losing sleep, Fears on sickness, including ALS?
I am a 21 year old university student. Most of my life, I've been deathly afraid of one thing or another, but the past few years have been different. Two years ago, i started getting telltale signs of diabetes, however my blood sugar never raised flags. Recently, it has, but no doctor is commenting much on it. What most gets me now is the persistent body-wide muscle twitching I've experienced for over a year, and the increased tightness and cracking in my left ankle. I've been to a few specialists about different problems I've been having, including a neurologist, but i haven't been able to give my symptoms or mind a rest. I can barely sleep at night, and that always has me cranky at work and in classes. Any suggestions?

See a Doctor about anxiety. Possibly a therapist? Health anxiety is very real and can be debilitating. In the past 2 months I've convinced myself I had cancer, HIV (even though I've been in a monagomous relationship for 7 years AND tested), and MS. Turns out my thyroid is hyperactive (which may explain the anxiety). My point is stop suffering from "what ifs" and seek help. Good luck and best wishes!

If you worry a lot, you probably will feel worse. But I would recommend going to a ciropractor or physical therapist :) and also about the diabetes part, I would recommend eating really really healthy, like a smoothie every morning and a lot of water threw out the day, hope this helps:)
