Item paid with bank card, now need a refund?

Right, I bought a pair of boots for my missus for Christmas, to realise I got them the wrong size!

I paid for this item using my bank card, which i have now lost!

I still have the receipt etc, but ain t I suppose to have the bank card I made the purchase with?

Please help, the boots weren t the cheapest of items either!

The place was Sainsburys, if im totally honest, i'd rather not have credit for the store.

If having the card replaced ill work then ill go for that option

Ah...normally they require the card you purchased it on to be refunded to, they might offer you a credit note (Voucher) if you don't have it but it depends on the shop, they might not even do cash refunds....you could take it your new debit card once you have it and say you lost your other one, still has you name on it

Get replacement card from your bank that issued it to you.
