Could my girlfriend of 2 years be pregnant?

My girlfriend takes birth control to help maintain her period. She has been taking them for years now. Well, we have had sex before. Back in Nov. we had unprotected sex. (I know, we were stupid for it) but she hasn't had her period since then... She feels fine. We are wondering if it could be her pills or not. She started skipping the inactive pills and just takes the actual medicine. Not the sugar pill. So, could that be why she has no period?? Her last period was the begging of Nov.

When taking pills, she should know that you shouldn't start a new leaf if you didn't have a period as you can still get pregnant while on the pill and taking it further can damage the baby and even cause miscarriage. Which means, tell her to stop taking the pill right away and get checked with the doctor to see if she is pregnant.

The sugar pills do nothing to her period the doctor even says you can skip the sugar pills cuz they dont do anything its just there to let you know your period should come during that last week of the pills so i doubt its from that ..lots of girls get pregnant while on birth control happened to my best friends sister she has unprotected sex and got pregnant regardless that she was on BC .. She missed her December period so i would think it would be best to take a test cuz you shouldn't miss a period while on BC unless your pregnant

Is she currently on birth control?

You know, the purpose of being on birth control (whether it's pills, an IUD, the arm implant, etc.) is so you can have completely unprotected sex without worrying about the risk of pregnancy. As long as you're using said birth control correctly, the risk of pregnancy is very minimal.
