To text or not text?

So there's a guy I like who I think likes me back. We've been flirting for the past month or so and are definitely friends. On New Year's eve, things got a little crazy and we both got pretty drunk and wound up making out several times. I texted him the next afternoon and he responded and we were chatting but he all of a sudden stopped texting back. I don't want to appear needy but I also don't usually get drunk and make out with guys, so this is a weird situation for me. Advice?
