Anyone know how to delete a question that is asked & has gotten NO answers on Yahoo? 2 weeks ago I asked a question about Christmas Cheer.?

The question you are quoting is showing as having ONE answer - yours. Therefore, it can't be removed at this point. First, delete your OWN answer. Then, you can delete the question. An "X" should show up once you remove your answer.

Bear in mind that the question itself was a violation for chatting, by most standards. Which may be why it wasn't answered. Or it may never actually have posted.

Others beat me to it: you can self-delete as long as there are no answers, including your own.

You're possibly not getting the point of the site. Your question was well-intended, and would be perfectly OK in a chatroom. But Yahoo! Answers isn't one - whatever the appearance may be in sections such as Polls & Surveys, where nobody abides by the rules.

Y!A's stated aim is to create a database of useful knowledge in Q&A format. Anything that doesn't contribute to that counts as "chat".

Wishing people a happy Christmas - good-hearted though it is - isn't seeking information/advice, and nor would the answers be giving it. That's why it's a chat violation.

if it's got no answers, just go to EDIT and the option to delete it should still be there
