Gia is correct, the decomposition of CaCO3 to form CaO and CO2 gas is not combustion, but the mass of the solid residue is less than the solid CaCO3. Of course, mass must be conserved in a reaction and so when taken together, the mass of CaO and CO2 equals the mass of CaCO3. Conservation of mass is true for every chemical reaction.
CaCO3(s) --heat-> CaO(s) + CO2(g)
Don't forget the state symbols.

It is not combusted because when calcium carbonate is heated, its mass does not decrease
It is called decomposition.
CaCO3->CaO+CO2
