I heard people talking on the TV but it wasn't on?

The creepiest thing just happened to me. ever. I was taking a shower in my moms bathroom, and i got out, and i was drying my hair and body and what not, and i heard the sound of the tv on (the tv in my moms room), and you know i heard ppl talking in the background, so i figured my mom was here. however, the sound of the tv stopped two minutes later, and i figured, again, my mom turned off the tv (after two short minutes, for some reason). So I started getting weirded out, so i got out of the bathroom, and i started calling my mom, and she wasnt answering. My mom was never there. So i have a strong feeling i started hallucinating. Im freaked out.

However, there's one thing I forgot to mention. There was construction workers outside. They were talking, and our windows are really thin. However, I really thought it was the TV. What should I do?
